Matthew's interest in photography was sparked by a monograph of Andre Kertesz photographs found at the flea market of Place du Jeu de Balle in Brussels where he lived during the 1970's.
He later trained at Saint Martin's School of Art in London and has been a professional photographer since 1992.
His commercial clients include Wall Street and City firms, AIG, GFI, Royal Mail, Boehringer Ingelheim, Nike, and from the arts world Artichoke Productions, Arts Council England, Brighton Festival, The British Council, The Design Museum, Faber and Faber, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra as well as numerous dance and theatre companies and artists.
Matthew is based in London and Brighton and works worldwide.
