Lumiere is the UK’s seminal light art festival — installations, projections and illuminated sculpture transforming familiar streets after dark. I’ve photographed every edition in both Durham and London since the festival began in 2009. The brief is the same one that runs through all of my work: document what’s actually happening, not a staged version of it.
